Concessions

The concession stand will be open the first week of practice through the end of the season, to provide quality service to our players, parents and visiting teams.

It takes many volunteer hours to keep the concession stand profitable and running smoothly.  The profit from the concession stand is used to help keep the Lions organization operational. We need help from all Glen Lea parents in order for this to be successful.

Please remember that it is the responsibility of the Team Moms to have their shifts covered.  It is the parent's responsibility to find their own replacement if they are unable to work their assigned day and/or time.  No one under age of 16 is permitted to work inside the stand.  On practice days there needs to be 3 volunteers from football and 1 volunteer from cheerleading.  On game day we require 4 from football and 2 from cheering.

Hours of operation on practice days as follows:

            August – 6:45 pm – 8:45 pm                   September – End of Season – 5:45 – 7:45

On game days, each team works the shift prior to their scheduled game.  See the tables below:

Estimated Game Day Concession Schedule

NOTE:  Game times are estimates only.  Please report to the concession stand when there is 10 minutes remaining in the game prior to your scheduled game time.  Please use the game clock for timing purposes. Actual work time is based on the length of the game.

At the discretion of the Ways & Means Director, only those who work concession on game days will receive a discount off food purchases.  This discount is limited to one transaction per day and applies only to hotdog, hamburger and cheeseburger combos.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Cynthia Talley , Ways & Means Director.

ALL coaches, umpires and Board members must present their meal ticket, signed by the league president, in order to receive their free meal on game day.  Tickets must be presented to Cynthia Talley or Cheryl Reid at the regular service window.  Please do not send children to pick up your meal.   No other discounts will be honored
