Q.    When are Board meetings held?

A.    The Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of each month at the Hidden Creek Recreation Building from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

 

Q.    Can anyone attend a Board of Directors meeting?

A.    Any Glen Lea member can attend a board meeting with prior written notice to the president.

 

Q.    How can I find out information about a committee?

A.    Please see any Board member and they can provide you with information on a committee and how you can get involved.

 

Q.    How can I become a Board Member?

A.    Nomination for Board positions are taken in October every 2 years at the end of the current term.  A nomination committee is formed to accept any request for positions and the Election is held during the End of Season Banquet.

 

Q.    Why do I have to pay a mandatory Fundraising Fee?

A.    This fee helps to off set additional expenses that the registration fee does not cover.

 

Q.    How do I obtain a copy of the Glen Lea Association Budget?

A.    You must provide a written request to the league.

 

Q.    How do I obtain a copy of the Glen Lea By-Laws?

A.    Please contact the league secretary.

 

Q.    How do I get a copy of the Metro By-Laws and Constitution?

A.    Please see the Glen Lea Football Metro-Rep to obtain a copy.

 

Q.    Why is it mandatory for me to work in the concession stand periodically?

A.    The revenue generated from the concession stand operation helps to offset expenses that the registration fee does not cover.  We need the support of every member to the keep the stand operational and in order to fund the football and cheering program.

 

Q.    What do I do if I have problem with my child's coach?

A.    Attempts to resolve problems with your child's coach or coaching staff should first be directed to your coach, if at anytime you are not satisfied that your issue has been resolved, you should forward your concerns to the League's Athletic Director.  Issues should only be taken to the President of the League if a resolution has not been satisfactorily met.
